The Biblical Songs in the New Part of the Bychkov Psalter (Sin. slav. 6/N)

Summary/Abstract: The Slavic manuscripts discovered by I. Tarnanidis in the Monastery of St. Catherine in Sinai in 1975 include the continuation of the Cyrillic Bychkov Psalter of the 11th с. (Sin. slav. 6/N). It contains the ending of the Psalter (published by A. Boyadzhiev) and the greater part of the following biblical songs. And it is this part that is the focus of the present article. The orthographic and linguistic features of the text are examined as compared to the already published and studied parts and most of all with the manuscript orthography and language analysis made by R. Krivko. The deciphered text of this part of the manuscript is published as an annex to the article.
