Seminary formation in the light of the teaching of Bishop Mikolaj Sasinowski

Summary/Abstract: The article based on teachings of Mikołaj Sasinowski portrays the role of seminar in preparation of the men called to priesthood. The first chapter discusses seminar as the heart of a diocese. It also presents signs of worry and care about the seminary he attended, which concerned both housing conditions and the scientific base, as well as the appointment of the right teaching personnel. The article portrays the role the bishop played in the development of this college. When he was elected bishop, Sasinowski devoted special attention to the seminar’s well-being. The second chapter is devoted to the priestly formation, It depicts the human, spiritual, intellectual and pastoral formation in the presentation of bishop Sasinowski.
