Summary/Abstract: This article presents the results of the study of social solidarity in modern Russian city, and analyzes the types and causes of gender differentiation. By analyzing the materials focus groups and transsymbolic analysis reveals the cultural and traditional perceptions of solidarity of men and women in the local space of the urban environment
