Net financial results and investment outlays in transport, storage and communication in the years 1995-2008. A cointegration analysis

Summary/Abstract: Trends in market development services in transport, storage and communication show their growing importance in the Polish economy. Service development is impossible without incurring capital expenditure. The first part of the article presents investment course of their reference to the total investment. The next section shows the current achievements of empirical research on the relationship between financial performance and investment. The last part of the article presents the empirical analysis between the rows of investment and net financial result in the transport, storage and communication using cointegration analysis. These studies require further analysis, especially because of the changes occurring in the global economy since 2008.
