On Invectives in Contemporary Romanian

Summary/Abstract: With this paper, we shall try to prove that the forms of invective are quite numerous from the point of view of their grammatical and lexical structure. We shall also tackle the issue of the two types of invective i.e. the verbal invective and the nominal one. Debating on the growing interest of the Romanian speakers in using more and more these kinds of constructions which are not tolerate (yet interesting to analyse) by the Romanian standard language.
