Summary/Abstract: Article mentions realization of Polish politics towards Arab countries in 1973. It was crucial moment for the Middle Eastern relations because of the another Arab -Israeli conflict called Yom Kippur war and its results for the West world. Petroleum producers introduced embargo on the export of their product, which evoked economical crisis. Some of the assumptions from 1973 couldn’t be implemented because of the Yom Kippur War. This conflict made a huge impact on Polish perceiving of Arab countries. It brought to reorientation of Polish foreign policy towards this region.
