Charles Grzesik – Marshal of the fourth Silesian Parliament

Summary/Abstract: Charles Grzesik used the two pseudonyms: Hauke and Lerch. He was born on 30 May 1890. Siedliska Racibórz County. He participated in the Silesian Uprisings and share plebiscite in Upper Silesia. With the support of followers of Pilsudski, proclaimed himself supreme commander of the third Silesian Uprising in 1921. For which he was arrested and brought before a court-martial. He stood for a certain period at the head of the Association of Silesian Insurgents.
