Summary/Abstract: Paweł Kempka lived from 1886 to 1972. He trained as a lawyer. He held various positions such as an attorney, notary public, national activist, member of the Silesian Parliament. He was one of the developers and experts in the autonomy of Silesia, which was reflected in parliamentary speeches in the years 1922-1935 three terms of office of the regional body. He fought for a return to the Polish Upper Silesia. He was one of the leading activists of the Christian Democracy alongside Wojciech Korfanty.
