Save the memory. Woldenberg Museum in Dobiegniew - organization, activity, exhibits

Summary/Abstract: The article has been devoted to Woldenberg Museum in Dobiegniew. It is the facility whose aim is to foster the memory of the events connected with the activities of Oflag II C Woldenberg, which existed between 1941 and 1945 and it was the largest place of this kind used to keep Polish officers captured by the Third Reich. In this dissertation the information about the creation of the Museum, its activities and its exhibits have been described. The issue concerning the activities of the former oflag prisoners to help the local society of Dobiegniew after World War II has been also taken up.
