Summary/Abstract: The article represents a few thematic areas, that are important for cultural policy. The search for intersections between them and the other articles in this special issue is the fundamental base of this text. It questions the basic concepts and the relationship between culture and policy, and their possible uses. Research and practices in this area are related to the challenges of the constantly changing environment in order to achieve an optimal state of cultural policy, to guarantee the future of culture.
