The production process management according to the Lean Management concept in automotive industry

Summary/Abstract: In this article an essence of the Lean Manufacturing and the most meaningful methods and techniques were described. Automotive industry structure was characterized and its particular importance with reference to the Lean Management concept was emphasized. The genuine purpose of the Lean Manufacturing – an implementation of one piece flow in a Just in Time system – was pointed.It was proved that the Lean Management is an international automotive production management standard and the essence of this concept cause the quality improvement and the growth of organization culture. Individual Lean tools are used to the production system improvement with an effect of waste elimination and production cost reduction.
