Summary/Abstract: Blogosphere is the new place for political communication providing by the modern world politicians. In this article the actual research of ten candidates for the position of President of Poland blogging which was undertaken by the author during the election campaign in 2010 is presented in order to determine the features of Internet communication in these online diaries. The comparative analysis of Polish politicians’ blogging is given and the goals for using online diaries in the election campaign are defined. The author has studied the content of political blogs on various blogging platforms and on some web resources, identified their strengths and weaknesses, made recommendations regarding the messages and their content and recommended to Ukrainian politicians to use the experience as a result of systematic research in their political communications, in particular, for dialogue on current political issues and personal opinions expression
