Summary/Abstract: The paper discusses the problems related to management under conditions of internationalisation of the labour market. The author analyses the literature concerning the theory of management in multicultural organisations. The paper also describes the process of internationalisation of labour markets and its influence on management style. The authors puts forward the hypothesis that a manager’s success in a multicultural organization is determined by his or her communicative skills, knowledge of the employees’ expectations and the ability to properly use the human factor he, or she manages. The paper looks at how cultural dimensions influence the approach to management, and examines the problems faced by international staff on a daily basis. The research method employed by the author involves an analysis of literature on international management and cultural differences, as well as two surveys.
