MANAGEMENT AND GOVERNANCE - TWO TYPES OF MANAGEMENT OF THE PUBLIC SECTOR AS ELEMENTS OF A GENERAL CYCLE OF MANAGEMENT

Summary/Abstract: The article presents a comprehensive attempt to clarify the content of different concepts of management in the public sphere and in particular the main categories of Management and Governance. These are examined in a comparative perspective. Thus treated they appear to be different types of management, brought together in a single general cycle of management. At the end of the study a model of sucah a General Management-Governance cycle is offered which differentiates, but also connects the different functions of management of the public sphere.
