Summary/Abstract: The article departs from ethnomusicological research of the war-time refugees from Bosnia and Herzegovina in Slovenia. Previous research was focused on traditional musical forms. This paper however presents the teen punk rock group “Nešto između” / “Sprung”. Through artistic career of the group from a refugee centre in the town of Ilirska Bistrica material and social conditions of musical and artistic creativity of refugees and the importance of creativity for the group members will be presented.
