Summary/Abstract: An increased interest is manifested lately in understanding the relationship between phys-ical exercising and the management of some neuropsychiatric disorders, with our pre-vious research following this matter also indicating to a possible important correlation between exercising and strength training in some neuropsychiatric diseases such as Alz-heimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, autism, schizophrenia, depression or anxiety. In this context, in the present mini-review, we are additionally summarizing how exercising could exert a beneficial effect in the situation of substance abuse disorder, quality of sleep inter-ferences, self-esteem issues and chronic pain manifestations associated with the aforemen-tioned disorders.
