Summary/Abstract: The Tuzla Canton has a number of valuable cultural and historical heritage assets that are unique and require special protection. Among them are headstones (Stecak = medieval Bosnian tombstone). Stecak is one of the most interesting and important events in the culture, history and art of medieval Bosnia,and as such, they should be given special attention. With this work, I will present 45 necropolises with stecak tombstones from the Tuzla Canton area.
