Summary/Abstract: The purpose of teaching Polish in economic groups is primarily to develop the learners’ communicative competence. Receptive skills (listening and reading) are crucial. Teaching also productive efficiency, that is speaking and writing, is also important. The ability of interaction and mediation are another language skills, which students acquire under the supervision of a teacher.
