Summary/Abstract: The article analyses two entries in the manuscript VI E f. 8 of Lobkowitz Library in Nelahozeves, which contains the oldest book catalogues of libraries of Prague colleges. Most likely, these entries registered the existence of an office for the supervision of public morals, which was, in the author’s view, after its re-establishment in September 1483 located in Reček’s College. In addition to a hand-over protocol about the return of the seal, the founding charter, the cash box, and keys to the college, these entries also include rules of correct behaviour expected of candidates of holy orders, who may have been at that time residing in the abovementioned college.
