Summary/Abstract: Developmental venous anomalies (DVAs) are the most benign malformations of the brain, only in rare cases causing a wide range of neurological signs and symptoms. So far, no cases have been reported that directly link DVAs with psychiatric symptoms, although their implication in the etiopathogenesis of the mental disorders seems plausible in the light of recent data on metabolic and structural abnormalities in the adjacent brain paren-chyma. (1, 2) In this article, we will discuss DVAs' involvement in the exacerbation of a child's aggressive behaviour.
