GOOD GOVERNANCE AND COUNTRY’S DEFENCE (1990-2017)

Summary/Abstract: The author presents certain negative aspects of the Romanian society related to the act of governance act during the 28 years that have elapsed since December ’89. Some strengths of our country are also highlighted, pertaining to population, material and financial resources, quality of citizens and their will to live in a state of law, without being humiliated and impoverished by the domestic political actors as well as by some from abroad. In this context, according to the author, serious problems are also presented concerning the country’s preparation for military defense. The responsibility of all politicians who ensured the Presidency, Parliament and governments during these twenty eight years is strongly emphasized.
