Summary/Abstract: A. Awdiejew’s individualized communicative method is focused on developing speaking and listening skills. The teaching material contains authentic journalistic texts from radio and TV programs, in the sound and graphic version. The teacher’s role is to choose interesting, effective materials that would encourage communication. This method emphasizes creative exercises that promote spontaneity and improvisation and take into consideration the needs and interests of the students.
