Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present the strategy of the Social Insurance Institution in 2010-2020, discuss the direction of changes introduced by ZUS, describe how to choose tools to implement transformations, as well as the relationship on the method adopted to implement the strategy in the form of a Balanced Scorecard. The research covered the validity of the assumptions adopted in the strategy and what effects occurred after achieving the intended goals. The analysis of issues was carried out using literature on the subject of documents created by social opinion research centers, as well as using their own long-term experience in the issues of strategy implementation. The previous assumptions adopted by ZUS have been implemented, which is confirmed by the conducted research. It should be noted that the mere establishment of a strategy by definition leads to development in a multi-annual perspective.
