Summary/Abstract: The parliamentary form of government is adopted in the Bulgarian Constitution of 1991. Unlike the classic European models, the separation of powers in Bulgaria manifests a number of specific features. They are predominantly connected to the place of the presidential institution in the system of the representative government.
