Summary/Abstract: In the article activity of the Ukrainian dramatic theater is examined named of Ivan Franko in Ternopil on a background social and political and socio-cultural situation in Galychina during its occupation by German troops (1941-1944). It is shown touring routes, repertoire policy, the creative staff of the theater and its influence on national and cultural life of the Galician Ukrainians.
