Summary/Abstract: This article determines factors and ways to improve the physical education of the first and second year female students. The data on the female students‟ health show the low body mass index, Erismann index, and other indicators of physical development. The research shows that the physical form of the female students does not meet the regulatory requirements. The authors offer a number of ways to improve physical education involving curriculum redesign, interactive methodology, motivation and self-training.
