Summary/Abstract: Personal development is a life-long process. It is a way of evaluating our own abilities, taking into account our desires and the goals we set to achieve and maximize our own potential. Personal development of individuals is conditional upon achieving and discovering the needs that could help us reach our goal. Achieving this goal and objectives is conditioned by the resources available, such as money, skills, knowledge, time and, last but not least, the motivation required. The article presents the results of a micro-research on the options of students from a public university in NE of Romania towards their own personal development. The results of the research can contribute to improving the educational offer and the activity of the Career Guidance Centers, not just the University where the investigation took place. The research also aimed at highlighting the moral values of individuals and their impact in the process of personal development of students.
