Summary/Abstract: The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has successfully continued the development strategy founded by the national leader Heydar Aliyev. Relations with the Caucasian republics are very important and are one of the main parts of international cultural connections in the Republic of Azerbaijan.All spheres of culture are very important for the development of international relations. His decree on the development of theatre in Azerbaijan from 19 February 2007 is of great significance. State Program “Azerbaijan Theatre in 2009-2019 years” was approved by the order of the President of Azerbaijan Republic on 18 May 2009.
