Summary/Abstract: This paper is based on the analysis of the changes in the writing of the Czech daily newspapers Rudé právo, the central body of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia, about Josip Broz Tito under the inϐluence of political developments in the relations between Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia, as well as between Yugoslavia and the Soviet Union. The study of this topic relies on different types of articles from the aforementioned newspapers, but also from the secondary literature. To better show the manner in which the writing of Rudé právo about J. B. Tito changed, it was necessary to analyse some of the archival documents related to the highest organs of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia and their attitude to Tito and the Communist Party of Yugoslavia, that is, from 1952 to the League of Communists of Yugoslavia, as well as the archives of the Yugoslav province, which refers to diplomatic contacts between Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia after 1945, as well as the links between the Communist Party of Yugoslavia / League of Communists of Yugoslavia and the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia.
