Persanazhnaya identification in a literary work: methods and tools

Summary/Abstract: In the article the means and techniques of the identification of characters in the novel “Bat’kovshtina” (Fatherland) by Kuz’ma Chorniy are analysed. Nominating characters is one of the most characteristic and widespread technique adopted by the author in the novel. The author considers its various types and changes names when the plot develops. The identification of a character helps to reveal man’s inner world and his relationship with the surrounding world.
