Features of the art world, "the old grandfather Conversations"

Summary/Abstract: The features of creative world in “Hutarki staroho dyeda”, one of the most interesting Belarusian literary works in the second half of the 19th century are analyzed for the first time. Special attention is directed to the language and the form chosen by an unknown author in order to convince peasants and yeomanry to support the January Uprising in Poland in 1863. The conclusions about narrator’s world and its manifestation in the work are drawn.
