Summary/Abstract: “American period” in the works of Natalya Arsyenyeva comprises the years 1950–1997 when the poetess emigrated and settled in the USA. It was not a very productive period as refers to the poetic writing. Lyric heroine of the period is lost in an unknown world, misses her motherland and compares it continuously to the country she lives in. The poetess looks for support in the beauty and harmony of nature.
