Summary/Abstract: The author addresses the problem of identity transformation among women who migrated to the UK after 2004. The article contains analyses based on empirical evidence, utilizing the Internet as a research tool, which provided valuable insight in the changes that occurred with respect to self-identity of an individual – in this particular case, Polish women. The research sheds light on the pace of the internal, socio- and psychological transformations. The changes not only affect identity, but also strongly influence migrants’ perception of the surrounding environment. This in turn results in re-evaluation of earlier ideological, philosophical, religious, and cultural paradigms.
