Summary/Abstract: The strategic vision from complex activities of the armaments domain is assuring the needs of military capabilities which are flexible, mobile, interoperable, rapidly deployable,sustainable and able to participate in theater for a full range of missions to international organizations (NATO, EU, UN, OSCE and coalition). The management of strategic procurement programs includes the acquisition of complex systems which is a process that takes place over several years, requires specialized and enough personnel and secure resources and stable for medium and long term, government and parliamentary permanent support and also strict control on the management of public funds annually. The active participation of the Romanian specialists in group activities and projects carried out under the aegis of the Conference of National Armaments Directors (CNAD-NATO) and European Defence Agency (EDA-EU) will contribute further to the promotion policy of the Ministry of Defence as part Romania's foreign and security policy to show our allies and partners that they can count on us, that our country is a predictable, fair and credible ally.
