Summary/Abstract: This article is about the life and career of the famous Ukrainian composer of the twentieth century, Boris Liatoshynsky. Here is noted the influence of musical-historical process on formation of individual creative style of the composer. It is investigated that during whole his life Lyatoshynsky fruitfully combined composing and teaching activity.
