Brotherhood and Substitution. Joseph and his Brothers

Summary/Abstract: My pupose in this paper is to point out that the exegesis of the Bible supports philosophical exposition. In this case the concepts of responsibility, substitution, exposition, exil, face to face dialogue and so on elaborated by Levinas are applied to the narration of Joseph and his brothers, and it seems that they fit. This is an illustration that the famous expression of Levinas "Europe is the Bible and the Greek" is relevant.
