Od istog čitaoca (from The Same Reader) – Borislav Mihajlović Mihiz as an (Impressionist) Critic

Summary/Abstract: The paper is an attempt to theoretically research from a new viewpoint the literary critical work of Borislav Mihajlović Mihiz. Having in mind the status of that critic in the history of Serbian literature, who was by the inertion of superficial metacritism mainly placed in the category of impressionistic criticism, a need occurred for a fundamental revaluation of his opus. The impressionist layers of Mihajlović’s criticism are seen as one of its dynamic elements, not as a (pejorative) umbrella denominator of the author’s analytical procedure. His criticism is closer to the concept of the “criticism of transposed subjectivity” which was terminologically established by Zoran Gavrilović.
