Summary/Abstract: In this article titled Rising of Islamophobia in Western Europe, a conceptual analysis of Islamophobia was made and it was analyzed through which stages Islamophobia was one of the most popular socio-political issues of the present day. The Xenophobia of Racism that has become a cultural one has undergone a certain specific fracture points in its historical course and has been in the axis of Islamophobia. These breaking points shaped the main lines of this article. The impact of academic studies,, the impact of the Iranian Revolution and the Selman Rusti paradigm on Europe, the gap in the European politics that fell into the void after the Cold War, the filling of Islam as an "other", the September 11 crisis and the ongoing terrorist attacks, the terrorist attacks on Islam the negative perceptions it creates, the caricature crisis and the effects of European extreme rightwing formations on the society are the main points of the breaking points.
