Summary/Abstract: Hand-woven products, which present changes and developments unique to time and region in the Turkish handicrafts, constitute the basis of traditional textile. The carpet culture, which spread to Anatolia with the conquest of Turkic tribes in the 13th century, was first formed in and around Konya. Konya Museums have a rich collection of regional carpets from the 13th century to this day. Within the scope of the present study, colour red analyses were conducted on two Ladik carpets in Konya İ. Koyunoglu Museum with Hunter Lab method. The reading averages, standard deviations, hue and choromo values related to colour red for both carpets were defined.
