Summary/Abstract: Sustainability is examined in an integrated system as the ‘Triple Bottom Line’. Sustainability approach aims to examine corporates in terms of their interdependency with the environment in which they operate. Corporate social responsibility ensures both the social and also environmental continuance according to the Triple Bottom Line. Accordingly, the management is supposed to supply environmental compliance. The level of success that corporates achieve tends to be influenced by various factors such as their stature, general public, purchasers as well as investors’ confidence. They require “triple win” planning as well as alliance both of which meet the coveted triple bottom line of sustainable development. In addition, eco-efficiency is an issue that cannot be ignored during the process in which sustainability is regarded as the main target. Last but not least, corporates are also expected to collaborate with nongovernmental organizations in terms of their environmental performance.
