Summary/Abstract: Amid divergent economic and strategic interests of the great regional and international powers, energy security remains a complex problem which requires pragmatic solutions tailored to the needs of security. Stability and economic prosperity on the Black Sea - Caspian Sea corridor can not be understood and strengthened but in relation to the stability and prosperity of the states in this area, but also in proximity. Analysing power relations and conflict developments in this region, but also those in the surrounding areas, it can be noticed that the instability of part of the system is transmitted in it, and the consequences are serious, varied and difficult to manage.
