Selected Questions of the Czech Social Security Law as a Tool for Integration

Summary/Abstract: To have employment remains to be one of the most effective ways of integration into Czech society. Employment is at the same time considered to be the most desired circumstance for establishing social insurance and health care insurance; it also simplifies access to welfare grants. To show the complex picture of Czech social security approaches towards foreigners, we have chosen to elaborate on miners’ pensions and employers’ liability for harm caused to workers in the course of work.
