Summary/Abstract: The article follows a path of life and professional development of Professor Maria Ivanova, whose 60th anniversary we celebrate. Presented are all aspects of her professional development as an ethnologist – as a scholar, field worker, lecturer, scientific adviser of bachelor, master and PhD students, as well as main aspects of her research interests – namely traditional socionormative culture.
