Summary/Abstract: Council of Priests of the Diocese of Łódz as the consulting body to the Archbishop of Łódz in the years 1986-1996 was operating in accordance with its ratified status on March 22, 1984. It consists of 24 priests elected for 5 years. This is the status of this board that characterizes its goals in a general way. The supreme goal of this council is to help the Ordinary in the direction of the diocese to multiply the pastoral good of the faithful entrusted to him. The different problems analyzed by the council at that time reflected the important affairs of the Church of Łódz as well as many aspects of the life and activity of its presbytery.
