Web 2.0 in Transylvania

Summary/Abstract: Zsombor Mihály takes a look at four Transylvanian homepages – szabadsag.ro, kronika.ro, transindex.ro and manna.ro. According to him, the Transylvanian online press represents the old fashioned habit according to which converting media-content in digital form and releasing it on the web can be defined as online journalism. He thinks the online media has to change these flaws and it requires improvements on a visual scale. The author sees the future for these portals with a facelift of innovative and creative interactive content with a combined work of graphics design, journalism and technical background.
