Summary/Abstract: The article explores the child as a subject of the right of religion and the participation of parents in its realization. Emphasis is placed on the necessity of balance the views of the parents, the wishes and the best interests of the child. It`s paid attention to the possibility of intervention by public authorities and courts in these relations, and also to the place of religion in the educational process.
