Summary/Abstract: Organized crime, under its different forms, has represented a special interest for the scientific research. The presentation and analysis of the organized crime group, as well as the various forms of the above-mentioned notion (crime group, criminal association, crime organization, criminal gang, etc.), from the perspective of the new romanian penal legislation, but also of the foreign legal systems, represents the starting-point of the research in the present study.
