Summary/Abstract: In this editorial the author seeks to complete a sketch of the present situation in Romania’s political life. After a decade and a half of turmoil, now it seems to be the right time to straighten up the things, putting an end to the transition period. The prime minister just declared that. But, in spite of the fact that all the words referring to transition were digested and hidden by the public discourse, there are still some supplementary conditions to fulfill in order to proclaim a real end of transition. For now we are just at the discursive end of transition, with a frail political configuration and a strong need for political virtues.
