Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the little-known aspect of the Ukrainian music history, viz. the Ukrainian diaspora’s commemoration of the Ukrainian music founder Mykola Lysenko. Based on the archival documents and publications, the typology of these commemorations is ascertained, the most remarkable cultural events are singled out, the composer’s little known musical compositions and sound recordings are introduced.
