Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the concept, idea and role of corporate social responsibility.Key areas of social responsibility have been discussed. The author indicated initiativesaimed at employees, local communities and society, with their target being naturalenvironment protection in light of sustainable development. The paper also presentsthe results of research on social involvement of enterprises and activities in this areathat contribute to building long-term, successful relationships with social environment.
